This is Peter also known as Little Janitor. He consumes alcohol excessively and is seldom sober.
Despite his penchant for spirits,he is amiable and seems quite happy.

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed hewas walking along the beach with the LORD.Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. Foreach scene, he noticed two sets of footprints inthe sand; one belonged to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of foot-prints. He also noticed that it happened at thevery lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned theLORD about it. "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you.During your times of trial and suffering, whenyou see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

MY FRIEND FARLEY

My friend Julian Farley and I had a drink last night at a nearby bar. We were joined by our esteemed associate MR Cecil A Ramcharan and our friend Sean also known as Buckman. While we were having a good time, a waitress attemped to robb us by inflating our bill by 50%. My friend farley who is a teacher by profession promptly made some mental calculations and rebuked the waitress who promptly returned the extra money which she was attempting to steal from us. Apart from that incident we had quite an enjoyable evening.

Positive Thinking

Regardless of how depressed you may feel, do not let it overcome you Fill your mind with positive toughts Whenever a negative thought enter your mind, gentle replace it with a positive thought Surrender yourself to god. Whatever you are going through, believe that it is happening to make you stronger. God is aware of what you are going through always put your trust in him. Every thing you possess is from god and they are only for a time. Do not depend on anyone or anything to make you happy instead look within yourself for happiness. Think of yourself as a soul. The body is just temporary but the soul is eternal. Live temperate lives and always praise and trust god regardless of how bad things may look. Try to be contented in life. Give life your best shot and whatever the outcome you could do no more so do not blame yourself if you do not achieve what you set out to. Do not envy others. always believe that god is in charge of you and and he will shower his blessings on you when he is ready. (Joe)

justice of the Peace killed

An elderly Justice of the Peace was stabbed to death on Sunday 14th August 2005. It was said that he went to clean his office on Sunday morning when he was killed. He was 72 years old and resided in Albouystown while his office was in Durban Street Georgetown. He died leaving a 36 year old wife. The police are investigating.
